“ Here twice inside of a week & both experiences were good. Servers are attentive & friendly. First trip we had fried bluegill & grilled shrimp. Fish breading is light & flavorful. Fish was cooked perfectly & it was a lot to eat. Grilled shrimp were blackened as requested & they have the distinct fresh crunch which I like. I’ve had this here many times and it’s always very good. Returned last night and we both had Patty melts of which my wife is a bit of a connoisseur. The Rye bread, cheese, onions & ground beef all exceeded our expectations and make this one of the best in the state. Only suggestion would be to add some noise reduction panels as it can be a little loud. ”
“ This is a DESTINATION! We were there on a Friday night around 5:30 and Joe met us at the door with a pleasant greeting and enquired if we were there for dinner? He ushered us to a cozy spot at the bar telling us Laura would be right with us to get our order. The Whiskey (Whisky) pours are AMAZING! The food was AMAZING! The service is and was Spectacular! This spot has some history too ask Deedee or Joe to fill you in! Again this is a Destination because it was so delicious and delightful worth the 1.5 hour drive. ”

The Tie-Up fries, French dip, and pickle chips were just a few of the amazing dishes recommended to us, and I have to say that are right! Everything was delicious, beyond expectations. “ Casual date night? It's one of our favorite places! If you love nachos and are feeling adventurous..try the brisket nachos with all the "fixens'. Sour cream and guac is a perfect addition! If you like them messy, order double brisket. You won't regret it. Thanks to Nicole! She is warm and welcoming and makes you feel like an old friend. Special shout out to the owner of this place. No expense is spared when it comes to holiday decorating. Skip the haunted house this year and bring the family here for dinner. Lots of opportunities for photos with life size spooky friends! There is a large dining area to the back that can accommodate a bigger group. This is a little hidden gem that you don't want to miss. ”
